My name is Jessica and I’m a (relatively) big girl who runs. Running for me is a solitary activity – I’m not a member of a running a club, I don’t have a coach and don’t have close acquaintances who run, so I’m doing this all by myself.
I’ve been running for a few years now. I started in 2012 on a treadmill at the gym, mostly to lose weight. A lot has happened since then… I’ve lost weight, gained it back, lost it again and put it back on yet again. But most importantly, I always kept on running. I’ve run two marathons in the last two years, found a passion and am presently training for my third (New York City Marathon 2016, here I come!!). I hope to keep on running at least one marathon per year for as long as I can and share it all on this blog.
